Adding in the content, the website is really taking shape. I researched a bit more on how featured books are displayed on sites like Barnes & Noble and Borders. They both had an image of the book and a link to the ISBN code or just the ISBN to find it easily. The school requested that the logo conformed to its display standards.
On an important note, since the admins and my client were running Internet Explorer 6-8, I needed to make sure everything worked as far back as possible.
I also changed the color scheme for both the header and background. My client informed me it was not required or neccessary to stay close to the school color scheme since the library was going to be re-painted soon.
As the site progressed further, I set up a list of tags the admins would be using to format their content. My client wanted to change the color of the links just a bit to an orange color - which is also easy for color bind people, too - to not make it so feminine & masculine.
I added into the sidebar a way for users to search the catalog, while the top search bar gave users a way to search the site for updates or anything they might of missed.
